Jessica Blanch is a trial lawyer with a proven record in high‑stakes litigation. Her practice focuses on commercial and business matters. She brings significant courtroom experience to sophisticated commercial disputes, and other complex business conflicts.  Before entering private practice, Jessica served for more than a decade as a frontline prosecutor in Southeast Michigan, trying cases ranging from misdemeanors to multi‑defendant homicide matters. During her time at the prosecutor’s office, she served as Lead Domestic Violence Prosecutor and supervised the S.A.F.E. program, prosecuting felony domestic violence cases and all domestic‑violence‑related homicides for the County. In that role, she trained agencies across the region in evidentiary‑based prosecution, developed a domestic‑violence outreach initiative aimed at reducing gun violence, and helped secure an Edward Byrne Memorial Justice Grant for the office.

Jessica’s background also includes international and academic experience that enhances her strategic perspective. In Tokyo, she served as a Foreign Legal Associate at Soga, Uryu & Itoga, advising multinational corporations on cross‑border corporate matters, subsidiary formation, and international legal frameworks. She later served as an Adjunct Professor at Rikkyo University’s College of Law and Politics, teaching U.S. constitutional law and global legal affairs. Earlier in her career, at North Carolina Prisoner Legal Services, she represented incarcerated individuals in state and federal pleadings, including habeas petitions and post‑conviction litigation.
