Richard M. Apkarian Jr.
Rich Apkarian is a trial lawyer who specializes in automotive, business, and real estate litigation. As a lawyer in the Detroit area, he has years of experience representing automotive suppliers in contract disputes, supply interruption cases, and warranty and recall claims. Rich also represents clients in a variety of business disputes, including shareholder disputes, contract actions and collections. His litigation experience also includes several types of real estate matters, including boundary disputes, property damage claims, lease disputes, and eminent domain litigation.
In addition to his litigation practice, Rich also provides contract and counseling services on automotive and other supply chain transactions (long-term or master agreements, purchase orders, and general terms and conditions), real estate agreements (easements, leases and licenses), and various other types of contracts (non-competes, confidentiality agreements, and service and product agreements).
Rich also advises clients on good business practices and litigation avoidance.
Rich spent the first ten years of his career working for Dickinson Wright PLLC and the next nine years with Paesano Akkashian Apkarian PC. He joined BWST in September of 2022.
